Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "the Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and GlobalPay (hereinafter referred to as "we") regarding the use of GlobalPay's payment services. By registering an account or using any of our services, you are deemed to agree to these Terms and related supplementary rules (e.g., Payment Security Terms, Refund Policy).
1. Eligibility for Service Use
- You must be at least 18 years old (corporate users must be legally registered legal entities or organizations) and have full capacity for civil conduct;
- Individual users must provide true and accurate identification information to complete real-name verification; corporate users must submit qualification documents such as business licenses and tax registration certificates;
- You agree to comply with the laws and regulations of the country/region where you use the services and shall not use the services for illegal activities such as money laundering, terrorist financing, smuggling, or gambling.
2. Account Management Rules
- You must properly keep your account name, password, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) devices, and shall not lend or authorize others to use your account. If you suspect your account has been compromised, you must immediately apply for account freezing through the official email or "Security Center" and cooperate with us to verify your identity;
- If your account information (e.g., mobile phone number, email address, business license) changes, you must update it within 3 working days. We shall not be liable for service interruptions (e.g., inability to receive verification codes, settlement failures) caused by outdated information;
- Individual accounts are only for non-commercial personal payments. Corporate accounts must align with the business scope stated in the business license. Cross-type use of accounts (e.g., using an individual account for corporate settlements) is prohibited.
3. Payment and Transaction Rules
- When initiating a payment through GlobalPay, you must ensure the provided credit card information is true and valid, and that you have obtained authorization from the cardholder. If payment fails due to incorrect information, expired cards, or refusal of authorization by the issuing bank, we will assist in identifying the cause but shall not be liable for order breach damages;
- After a transaction is initiated, you must complete the payment within the specified time (usually 15 minutes). Unpaid orders will be automatically canceled after expiration. Upon successful payment, funds will be settled according to the agreed timeline (instant settlement for individual users, T+1 to T+3 settlement for corporate users, subject to service tier);
- You shall be responsible for the authenticity and legality of each transaction. If disputes arise due to fraudulent orders or infringing goods, you shall bear full legal responsibility, and we reserve the right to freeze relevant funds and suspend account services.
4. Service Restrictions and Termination
- If you violate these Terms (e.g., providing false information, engaging in illegal transactions, defaulting on fees), we reserve the right to take measures including warnings, restricting account functions (e.g., prohibiting cross-border payments), freezing funds, and terminating services;
- Due to changes in laws and regulations, regulatory requirements, or technical upgrades, we may suspend or adjust some services (e.g., terminating payment support in a specific region). We will notify you via the official website or registered email at least 7 working days in advance;
- You may apply for account cancellation at any time, but you must settle all unsettled funds and resolve all pending transactions (e.g., refunds, disputes). After cancellation, all service rights will be terminated, and historical transaction records will be retained in accordance with regulatory requirements (for at least 5 years).
5. Liability Division and Exemptions
- We do not make absolute commitments to service availability. In the event of service interruptions caused by system maintenance, network failures, or force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, wars), we will repair the issue promptly but shall not be liable for indirect losses (e.g., order breach penalties, lost business opportunities);
- We shall not be liable for account theft or fund losses caused by your own negligence (e.g., password leakage, device virus infection, operational errors), but will provide technical support to assist in recovering losses;
- We shall not be directly liable for issues caused by the fault of third-party services (e.g., credit card issuing banks, logistics providers), such as delayed authorization by issuing banks or lost goods by logistics companies, but will assist you in communicating with the third party.
6. Term Revision and Dispute Resolution
- We reserve the right to revise these Terms in accordance with business development or regulatory changes. The revised Terms will be published on the official website and take effect 7 natural days after publication. If you do not agree to the revisions, you must cease using the services;
- Disputes between you and us shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation (contact email: service@payworldcard.com). If negotiation fails, you may file a lawsuit with the people's court having jurisdiction over GlobalPay's place of registration (overseas users may submit the dispute to the International Court of Arbitration in New York, USA, for arbitration in accordance with its rules).
7. Other Provisions
These Terms are a core part of the GlobalPay User Service Agreement and have the same legal effect as the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If there is a conflict between these Terms and laws/regulations, the laws/regulations shall prevail.
